Ape Escape (PlayStation Move) coming to Europe!

Ape Escape for PlayStation Move is coming to Europe in June 2011.

Yep, it's official. The new game, under the name "Ape Escape" will be hitting shelves across Europe in June 2011. The title was released to Asia in 2010 with amazing reception, selling over 500,000 units so far. The title will be released as "PlayStation Move - Ape Escape" in the US on the PlayStation Store in Summer this year. Australia and New Zealand will see the title in July, and will also include a release of the special edition made specially for Ape Club members, which will include a copy of the soundtrack, and a booklet with facts about all the Ape Escape games.

In other news, a leaked image of Ape Escape 4 has leaked. You can find it on our blog. Stay Tuned.

Please Note: We were first to post the cover. Not even Sony have posted it.

Ape Escape - Remastered Soundtrack!

The original Soundtrack for Ape Escape has just been re-mastered. Make sure you grab your copy today!

Ape Escape 4 - First Look

The Ape Escape development team have updated the Development Page* with new information regarding the fourth entry in the series. It is set to be released in 2012, and will support 1 - 2 players on the standard PlayStation 3 console, rather than the new "PlayStation Move" as the latest Ape Escape title focus's purely on the Move controller. A PlayStation Move support decision for the game hasn't been denied as of yet.

The team used the picture above as the placeholder image for the game's cover. It looks similar to "Million Monkeys" but uses the same sketches of "Spike" as the original game. It seems as the audience of the game have grown up, the game needs to grow up too. If the image is anything to go by, we think it has!

More when we hear it. You excited?

Ape Escape - New PSP Title

Welcome to our blog. We provide new information about the Ape Escape franchise daily. Please follow our blog to keep connected.

For the new PlayStation hand held console, the Ape Escape development team will be creating a game, that will hopefully be released as a launch title along with the console. It is unknown what the title will be about at this stage, however it's hoped it will be a nice companion piece to the already-out "Ape Escape - Furi! Furi!" which has currently sold over 300,000 copies in Japan, and 750,000 copies throughout Asia.

"Furi Furi" will be released to international markets as "PlayStation Move - Ape Escape" and will be released throughout the Summer of 2011. The new PSP title is aimed to be released before the end of this year.
